Jobs in the HCNS network

Hertie Network of Excellence in Clinical Neuroscience | Postdoctoral positions for clinician and medical scientists

The universities of Berlin, Bonn, Hamburg, Heidelberg/Mannheim, München und Tübingen with their neuroscientific institutes and neurological university hospitals have jointly established the Hertie Network of Excellence in Clinical Neuroscience. The goals of this network are to promote innovative forms of cooperation, to strengthen translation and to support excellent young scientists in their careers. Within this framework, up to four postdoctoral/clinician scientist positions are available at each site. All participating universities have been successful in the excellence initiative of the Federal Government of Germany and offer a wide variety of careers in clinical neurosciences.

As one of the top sites, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) aims to recruit highly talented early-career clinician scientists and medical scientists who wish to deepen their basic and translational research experience in clinical neuroscience. In addition, this programme encourages researchers currently working abroad to enter or re-enter the German research system.
